“Whispering Angel”, Cotes de Provence Rose, 2019

– It is a pale coral pink in the glass. Enticing aromas of juicy ripe strawberry, white peach, passionfruit and lemon peel permeate the nostrils. Upon the palate, it appears bone dry. Ribbons of gossamer silk texture and an enchanting slipperiness advance at just the right moment, giving way to charming and refined layers of white peach, cherry, tangerine and citrus, with hints of more exotic spices, passion fruit, and mango. White peach, dried mango, and white cherry all ride out on a wave of honey tinged with sage. Streaked with racy minerality and a lingering river-stone and pink grapefruit blossom aftertaste.

Very expressive with white flowers and fruity aromas of apricot and vineyard peach, along with dried fruit and nut overtones. Familia Schroeder – Malbec Alpataco, 2019

Deep, saturated blackish-ruby hue. Ripe licorice and plummy black fruit aromas carry an integrated, sweet-vanilla oak accent. A firm entry leads a structured, full-bodied palate with grippy, ripe tannins and god depth of fruit. A pure, balanced style with a lengthy finish.

86 Points Wine Enthusiast (2011 vintage)
“A purple tint and aromas of black fruits, graphite, toast and minerally crispness set the bar high, but in the mouth and on the palate things are less impressive. There’s a raw, acidic bite despite oaky creaminess, while flavors of wild berry and herbs finish a bit green.” M.S.  (12/31/2013)

Crystal clear, pale straw colour. Fresh white stone fruits with citric notes. Firm, intense and well balanced palate, persistent aromatic fruit with a long finish.

86 Points Wine Enthusiast (2013 vintage)
“Soft and round, this is a wine that has the warmth of the Alentejo coupled with a tangy, fresh slice of lemon. Blending Antão Vaz, Roupeiro and Perrum, it’s a wine to drink now, or just age for a few months.”

Family and values
The story of San Simone is linked to the territory. At Rondover, between Prata and Porcia, in the most western part of Doc Friuli Grave and central part of DOC Prosecco, the company San Simone is the result of winemaking tradition and culture of our family, which is engaged in the business of wine grower for four generations. We chose the name San Simone for our wines and wine cellar in the memory of our origins. The very first and historic headquarter was in fact situated in via San Simone, Prata, opposite the fourteenth century church devoted to San Simone, where our great-grandfather decided to began his activity which is now been converted into a family residence.

Many changes have taken place over time. But one thing which has not changed is our value system. Values: responsibility towards the reality in which we work, passion for work and transparency in our working system. These are the values which are timeless.
