Pronounced via-“dare”, VIADER is a leading Napa Valley wine estate established in 1986 by Delia Viader, and recognized around the world for consistently producing high quality wines.
The VIADER Vineyards are located on the steep rocky slopes of Howell Mountain, 1200 feet above the Napa Valley floor, approximately 3 miles northeast of St. Helena.
The Wine
The propriety blend is the estate’s flagship wine and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure, character and complexity with succulent fruit and rich tannins, whilst the Cabernet Franc adds aromatics and imparts a silky structure, suppleness and elegance.
1996 was a very good year for Napa wine, a warm vintage the wines show good concentration and depth. This prestigious wine is ready for drinking now and has been stored impeccably in our own temperature and humidity controlled cellar.
