Argiolas is the foremost wine estate on the island of Sardinia producing archetypal wines from native varietals. The winery was founded in 1938 by Antonio Argiolas and was the first on the island to pursue quality over quantity. Today, the Argiolas family is recognized as Sardinia’s leading producer of wine.
– The name “Boigin” refers to the Italian word for ox: bue. “Boi” is a play on the word “Bue” hence Boigin. Citrus tree flavours and notes of indigenous Sardinian herbs. On the palate is spicy, with expressive notes of botanical herbs and a typical gin aftertaste.
A full bodied Chianti showing wild red and black berry flavours along with wild herbs, spice and savoury notes supported by a refreshing acidity and structured tannin.
Pale and delicate wine with fine mousse and persistent fine bubbles. The clean fruity aromatic bouquet contains hints of flowers, honey and apple leading to a well balanced, light and fresh palate.
Salmon pink colour. Aromatic notes of freshly crushed cranberries and mineral elements. Dry and light to taste. Delicious balance of citrus fruits, cherry and red berry notes.
This medium-bodied wine has a pleasant, fresh bouquet with a dark cherry and plum nose. Very easy on the palate with light tannins and a smooth finish.
