Rich and intense bouquet of blackberries and blackcurrant. The structure is well balanced with luscious dense tannins. Notes of liquorice, peppermint and spices. There is a good mineral end on the back palate.
Deep purple red colour, almost black. The nose is pronounced with hints of ripe red fruits, almost jammy. Cherry, fig and dried plum dominate. The attack is concentrated but soft. Natural sugar envelops soft tannins. Aromas of candied fruits cover the back of the palate. Nice balance and good length.
Bright, dense crimson red hue. This vintage is more mature than the 2012 with black and red fruit aromas such as strawberry, blackcurrant and blackberry. It is smooth and fruity on the palate, with a good balance between structure and elegance. Nice silky tannins and a rich, delicious finish with notes of liquorice, spice and herbs. The 2013 is a more complex and substantial wine than previous vintages.
This is Hanaé younger brother Eloi. Produced in a similar style but somewhat lighter with 115grams of residual sugar rather than 170. Still absolutely delicious and will marry fruit tarts to perfection.
