Very beautiful yellow colour with a discreet gold touch, shimmering with green reflections. The nose opens up onto delicate notes of flowers : lime tree, elder, then some fruits appears : peach, fresh grapes, apple. Mineral in the mouth, it’s filled with fat, adorned with a beautiful liveliness highlighting aromas of white flowers. A wine endowed with finesse and complexity that will perfectly match a seafood platter, dessert and fresh fruit.
This is Hanaé younger brother Eloi. Produced in a similar style but somewhat lighter with 115grams of residual sugar rather than 170. Still absolutely delicious and will marry fruit tarts to perfection.
Tasting Note This wine is made from a blend of grapes, 70% of which come from vines planted on a clay-limestone soil and 30% from vines planted on schist. Deep red hue. Intense on the nose with harmonious ripe aromas: cherries mingling with plums and slightly peaty notes. It is clean and straightforward on the palate with a nice hint of bitterness which lifts the finish which has an iodized touch. The wine is tauter than the preceding vintage. Lovely overall balance and a gorgeous tannic grain. A lovely vintage best appreciated in the next 7-8 years.
This classic and well vinified Bordeaux wine has a pleasant nose of ripe red fruits, a very expressive, fruity mouth with a fresh finish. 10-12 months in barrel. Enjoy from 2-3 from vintage up to 8-10 years. Pair with games dishes.
