Sauvignon Blanc, Pays d’Oc IGP, Vieille Grange “Les Fines Roches”, 2015
This Sauvignon displays the classic style we all know and love. The nose is fresh and direct, with citrus fruits, fresh cut lime, grapefruit and green peppers. The palate possesses fresh acidity and crisp citrus fruits, alongside melon and lychees. The finish is crisp and lengthy.
Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon, Cape Mentelle, 2014
Cape Mentelle takes a minimal approach towards this classic Margaret River blend. The aim is to preserve as much fruit intensity and regional character as possible, whilst providing a full flavoured distinctive white wine. The style accentuates the fresh fruit characters of both varieties with the added complexity and palate weight offered by a small portion of barrel fermentation. Pale straw with green hues. On the nose – Varietal Sauvignon notes revolving around cassis buds, juniper berries and cracked black pepper. The nose then opens to complex fruit ranging from zesty white grapefruit to hints of lychees, lifted by ethereal oral notes of jasmine and passionflower. The attack is juicy clean, slightly saline, on notes of passion fruit and citrus. The fresh pithy acidity and mineral character, reminiscent of fine absinthe, fresh ginger and gentian bitters give the wine a lot of vinosity and masculine personality, well balanced by the honey notes and creamy texture of the Semillon and showing exceptional length.

Light, straw colour. Clean and intense in aroma. Dry to taste with a pleasant green apple aftertaste. A lively and easy to drink wine.

The Winery of Good Hope – Bush Vine Chenin Blanc, 2015
Wonderfully lively, intense, fruity and beautifully balanced dry Chenin Blanc. With flavours of pears, sherbet and flint there is plenty of leesy mouthfeel and purity of fruit, whilst finishing with a refreshing lime and mineral length.
As the name suggests, this wine is the product of old bush vines, principally in the Helderberg area of Stellenbosch. They grow on extensively decomposed granite soils, situated on ocean-facing, gravelly slopes that are exposed to cooling sea breezes.
This Chenin is packed with vibrant, taut acidity, bags of fresh citrus fruit and beautiful, ripe texture – though mineral and restrained on the finish. These magnificently resilient, sturdy, old bush vines seem to produce impeccable fruit, year after year.
Thierry Merlin-Cherrier – Sancerre, 2015
Thierry Merlin-Cherrier owns 13 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc in the village of Bue, one of the principle hamlets surrounding the old walled town of Sancerre. These soils have a high chalk content and as a result this Sancerre is distinguished by its perfume of citrus and minerals. It has finesse and precision combining typical firm structure with an aromatic , blackcurrant character and an extra richness of gooseberry and lees on a long, zesty finish.
They bottle two white cuvées, a generic blend and, since 1999, a separate bottling from Le Chêne Marchand.
Le Chêne Marchand is a single gentle south facing site situated between Bué and Crézancy and is recognised as one of the potential ‘Grand Cru’ vineyards of the appellation – should the Berrichon ever take this route. The wines are aged on their lees in a single concrete tank for between 15 and 18 months, and the request to bottle a quantity in magnum signifies our belief in the wines ability to age and mature further.
The estate applies the principles of substainable winegrowing.
Tindall Vineyard – Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, 2015
Very appealing fresh tropical notes of pineapple and citrus combined with mineral complexity. The palate is sweet and succulent with lively mouth feel.

Very pale in the glass this Unoaked Chardonnay is bright, light and fresh. With no exposure to oak we have retained the true characteristics of the varietal. Delicate and well balanced with citrus fruit and melon flavours, there are also hints of the natural local flora.
