Clear yellow color with shining reflects. The nose is strong with spicy notes, flower and mint mix up to offer a rare aromatic complexity. The mouth is straight, initially crispy, then it complexifies with salty notes. Round with a perfect balance between acidity, fruit and aromas. The minerality of this wine is characteristic of the great Chardonnay cultivated in a fresh environment and raised in oak barrel.

Moulin Touchais, AC Coteaux du Layon, 1971
Deep orange gold. This has an attractive and complex baked apple nose with hints if spice and caramel. The palate is complex, powerful and concentrate and is distinguished by the high level of acidity. Highly textured, with a russet-apple and quince like presence, this is still positively youthful. It has been preserved by the acidity and will continue to hold for years to come. It deserves to be in the cellar of all true Chenin lovers.
Moulin Touchais, AC Coteaux du Layon, 1996
Polished, deep yellow-gold. The nose is muted and withdrawn, we suspect this showed some reduction in its youth, but has since emerged. The palate is light on entry but builds well to a relatively powerful finish. There is some complexityhare, with the wine developing some calvados like flavours.
Mt. Difficulty – Roaring Meg Pinot Gris, Central Otago, 2015

Saint-Joseph Blanc, E. Guigal, 2014
Light yellow. Ripe citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complicated by suggestions of dusty minerals and white flowers and ginger. Juicy and precise on the palate, offering intense, nicely concentrated tangerine and bitter pear skin flavors and a hint of honeysuckle. Shows very good energy and lift on the finish, which repeats the floral and ginger notes

Family and values
The story of San Simone is linked to the territory. At Rondover, between Prata and Porcia, in the most western part of Doc Friuli Grave and central part of DOC Prosecco, the company San Simone is the result of winemaking tradition and culture of our family, which is engaged in the business of wine grower for four generations. We chose the name San Simone for our wines and wine cellar in the memory of our origins. The very first and historic headquarter was in fact situated in via San Simone, Prata, opposite the fourteenth century church devoted to San Simone, where our great-grandfather decided to began his activity which is now been converted into a family residence.
Many changes have taken place over time. But one thing which has not changed is our value system. Values: responsibility towards the reality in which we work, passion for work and transparency in our working system. These are the values which are timeless.
