Vertical Tasting and Lunch 12.00 pm – 2.30 pm
Viader Vintners Tasting Room
This fairy tale Chateau which Gilbert had the pleasure to visit in 1999, is situated in the southern part of the Ludon-Médoc area of Bordeaux.
When the grapes are blended they give wines that are elegant, refined and full bodied with a firm backbone.
The grapes varieties are those typical of Bordeaux: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wines are described as ‘modern, accessible Bordeaux’ and we will be fortunate to be tasting nine vintages from 2002 up to 2010.
Tickets are available now – book soon as places are limited, and some have already been sold.
At the end of the tasting, we will be serving some delicious food. On this occasion, beef will take centre stage, and will be served in a traditional Bordelais style.
